These are the teak finishes we work with most often. Each shade changes how the grain reads in your light—pick the one that feels right for the room, then we build the piece around it.

Teak in Kerala
Teak has been used across Kerala for generations—in family houses, temples, and everyday furniture—because it handles humidity and lasts. Its warm grain sits comfortably with lime-washed walls, terracotta floors, and tropical light.
What makes teak different
Teak carries natural oils and grows with a close grain. Together they help seasoned timber stay stable in humid weather and resist everyday wear. That does not mean every teak piece will last forever—the cut, joinery, and finish still matter—but the wood itself starts with real advantages for furniture.
How teak ages
Fresh indoor teak often looks pale and golden. With years of light and touch it usually deepens toward amber and brown. Keep care simple: dust with a soft cloth, avoid harsh cleaners, and choose a finish that matches how the piece will live in your room.
